Career/Bio overview I'm a Senior Product Manager with 8 years in healthtech, building products that genuinely improve lives โ from helping veterinarians care for animals to supporting new mothers through their breastfeeding journey. I truly believe Iโm a better product manager because I started my career building products as an engineer. My journey started with a biomedical engineering degree from UMaine, then an MBA, followed by roles at IDEXX, Abbott, and most recently as Founding Product Manager at Pumpspotting, a femtech startup.
At Pumpspotting, I led the entire product lifecycle that tripled monthly active users on our mobile app, achieved an 85% onboarding completion rate, and grew our B2B product from 0 to 50 logos. Last summer I helped launch a nationwide mobile bus tour from 0-to-1 that drove 6x revenue growth and reached 45,000+ new moms nationwide โ ultimately positioning the product for acquisition by the Chamber of Mothers.
What excites me most is that moment when user research reveals the real problem hiding beneath what users initially say they need. Whether it's reducing COVID diagnostic investigation times by 90% at Abbott or designing habit-forming features that keep users engaged, I love transforming complex healthcare challenges into solutions that work for the business bottom line and its users.
Currently, I'm consulting with early-stage edtech and healthtech startups while actively seeking my next full-time product manager role.
Why Maine? I'm a Maine native who chose to build my career here rather than chase opportunities elsewhere. There's something powerful about staying rooted while still pushing the boundaries of what's possible in tech. Maine's healthcare and biotech ecosystem is incredibly strong and continues to growโ from IDEXX's veterinary diagnostics to Abbott's human diagnostics, and emerging femtech companies like Pumpspotting. I've found that being here allows me to work on meaningful products while maintaining the work-life balance that lets me be present for what matters most.
The collaborative spirit in Maine's tech community is unmatched. People genuinely want to see each other succeed, and there's less of the competitive spirit you find in bigger tech hubs.
Away from the keyboard You'll find me hiking with my dogs and husband and competing in dog sports. I'm also passionate about advocating for womenโs health, and supporting young girls to get excited about STEM.
Let's talk Iโm actively seeking my next Senior Product Manager role at a healthtech startup where I can drive product strategy through scale. I thrive in scrappy startup environments (pre-seed to Series B) but Iโm also excited by later-stage companies (Series D+) with established hero products looking to build out their suite, launch spin-offs, or expand their portfolio. Iโm particularly drawn to companies working on healthcare access, womenโs health, or diagnostic technologies.
I'd love to connect with founders, fellow PMs, or anyone building healthcare solutions in Maine. Also happy to chat with anyone curious about product management, transitioning from engineering to product, or navigating Maine's startup ecosystem.
