Career/Bio overview
I grew up near Acadia National Park and started playing squash in the Boston area. After graduating from Bowdoin in 2012, I decided to leave the private sector to pursue my dream of working in youth development. Starting with small youth clinics at the YMCA, I rallied the community to open Portland Community Squash - a multigenerational community center on Noyes Street.
PCS concludes a $7,000,000 facility and program expansion in November this year. I also serve as past chair of Portland's Out of School Time Workgroup, former Afterschool Ambassador for Maine, and Senior Advisor for Community Squash at US Squash.
Why Maine?
Less traffic and happy families.
Away from the keyboard
Salsa dancing, fly fishing, golf, baseball, bad sax player, spending time with families all over the city
